Game Overview
Your dreams are always happy and delightful, but tonight something is going wrong. Your wildest dreams of finding the magic numbers are slowly slipping away, through a whirlwind of riddles, puzzles and illusions. Can you solve your way out of this dream before your chances get lost in the subconscious forever? Be aware, things may not be as they appear…

It had been a few months since we had begun our escape room journey at Lucardo and after some poor experiences in other venues we thought it would be best to come back to somewhere where we knew we would find good games. Mike met us and gave us our brief before we were asked to put on blindfolds (put of the illusion of falling asleep) and it was into the room. It was along time ago when we played this room but I still remember that my initial impression were one of confusion. The room looked bizarre with some crazy decorations and things on the ceiling that you just wouldn’t have expected. Puzzles were mainly observation and working out what things constituted decoration and what was a clue to an answer. The nature of the room gave a good idea of progress as you made your way through the room. One puzzle in particular made good use of items in the room and one we haven’t seen since. Towards the end of the room we hit a snag on one puzzle. We knew what we needed to do but just could not work out how it linked to the lock in front of us – but a carefully timed clue put us on the right track before we got frustrated!

Outcome
We escaped back to reality with 10.15 left on the clock having took 4 clues. Mike was fantastic at nudging us in the right direction without being too obvious. Clues, as with all Lucardo games are on a screen.

Overall
A solid game from Lucardo that unfortunately has now closed to make way for a new game. It had a unique theme that paved the way for a unique feeling room and one that we were glad that we got the chance to play. Apart from one puzzle towards the end of the game, the two of us found it mostly straightforward.

Customer Experience – 4 out of 5
